Thanks for the information :)

I am using Nconf as web UI to create hosts/hostgroup etc to monitor, it also generates the config files with respective modification. Does here also Nagios work with the config files and keep data/result in .log file?

Nagios, even with nconf, will still use the nagios.log file. Nconf will still interact with configs.

Before I lock this, are you all set, issues resolved and such?
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.

Yes, my doubts are clear now regarding Nagios and nconf. Later i will use Nagios XML engine to pull the data so may be that time i need to consult about that. If there is a support forum like yours for Nagios XML engine then please provide me the URL, i would be grateful.

Thanks for the support. :)

Your only avenues of support for Nagios XML can be found at: http://nxe.sourceforge.net/
Word of warning, I do not know how active the development and support it is though.

Locking 'er up.
