Issues in CCM with Internet Explorer

Post by WillemDH »

I'm having issues working with Iinternet Explorer in CCM since today. I've update this morning to 2.3, but I'm not sure if it has sth to do with that. In the uploaded image you can see the issue. When selecting Manage hosts, servicegroups, hostgroups or templates, the assigned list seems empty while i'm 100 % sure it isn't empty. I checked the same service / host with Firefox and I can see the assigned host / servicegroup / hostgroup or template fine there. Anyone an idea what might be the issue. rebooted my pc, but didn't help.

What version of IE are you running? Have you tried to run it in compatibility mode?

See screenshot for details about my browser version.

When I run Nagios in compatibility mode, it seems to work normally.

This has been reported and fixed, the change should be in the 2.3 tarball already, if not I will let someone who is responsible for it know.

So what do I need to do to fix this? Redo the same upgrade procedure?

Yep. Re-download, and re-run ./upgrade.

If you are already running 2.3, this ideally should have been corrected with the initial upgrade. You can always go to components and see if there is an available CCM update to install.

Checked for updates in the Components page, but no updates for CCM. (@ version 2.0 atm)

I'll try to ./upgrade again with 2.3 later.

No problem. IE9 and jquery are not friends right now. You may need to stick to compatibility mode for now, especially if the ./upgrade does not fix things for you.

Found a better solution.. Upgraded to IE10 and all seems to work fine there. You can close the thread. :)
