latest update:2012R2.3 causes text message issue

I just installed the latest release and now have an issue with my text messages. Here is an example:
FRM:Nagios XI
SUBJ:=?utf-8?b?TWVtb3J5IFVzYWdl?=
MSG:Service: Memory Usage
Host: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1
State:
(Con't) 2 of 4
CRITICAL
Info:
bCRITICAL: Memory Usage: (W 90, C 95): 99% - Total: 15944 MB, used: 15764
MB, free: 180 MBbrSwap Usage: (W 100, C 100):
(Con't) 3 of 4
0% - Total: 18127 MB, used: 0 MB, free: 18127 MBbr/b
Date/Time: 09/03/2013 10:52:32

You can see the 'SUBJ' is scrambled. Do you know how to fix this ?

It will also be in the next release. If you do not have access the the above forum section I also attached the patch here.

Unzip and place in /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/
