NOC view for nagios core machines in Fusion

Post by solvisoft »

Hello

Is there a way to download a Dashlet that shows all the Nagios Core machines in one view and the status of all the services like in Nagios Core?

so if something goes out it will be on top of the screen

sort of NOC view

There is currently no dashlet that will do exactly what you want it to do, however it is not too hard to create one. I'd suggest taking a look at one in nagios XI which displays this info "If you have XI" and then basing it off of that.

You should be able to upload it via Admin > Manage Components. Simply upload the component once you download it from the exchange, and it should be present in your Home menu.

What are the OSs/Architectures on the fused Core servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian; 32-, 64-bit)?

There is a problem with getting the data from Ubuntu/Debian boxes in Fusion. Try the following:

1. Download this patch:
utils-tacdata.inc.zip
2. Unzip it, and copy the "utils-tacdata.inc.php" file over the old one on the Fusion server ("/usr/local/nagiosfusion/html/includes/utils-tacdata.inc.php").
Note: You can save the "old" file prior to overriding it, just in case...

Let me know if this helped.

Are you getting errors when accessing that file via the webui? What are the permissions on that file after replacing it?
