status.dat Missing

Post by BanditBBS »

Ok, weird issue. Every Monday and Thursday at noon, I get an email from my two production XI servers listing everything that has notifications disabled on them.

I just got the one, but the other is broken. The /usr/local/nagios/var/status.dat file is missing so it can't do what it has to do. Everything in XI seems to be functioning properly.

Any ideas?

status.dat should be updated on nagios restart. If you apply configuration, does it get regenerated?

This is odd.

Never mind, I did the ramdisk thing last week and need to adjust the script.

EDIT: Yep, it is resolved, just ignore me :)
