Hosts not showing up

I put a windows server into monitor it just by ping. I did the wizard and there wasn't any host groups to associate with. I have hostgroups that show up in the core manger and I can associate them with the group there, but they still don't show that I have any hosts being monitored on the host detail page (or anywhere for that matter.)

Are you able to get an "Apply Configuration" to go through successfully from the Core Config Manager? Are your entries in the Core Config Manager showing as "synced"?

I was still having issues and we finally got approved to use the vm image of centos.

Is it ok to mark this issue as resolved, or are you still having problems with it?

It is. I just used the vm and everthing works..... except for the other things I posted in a different thread.
