I was trying to install the nrpe agent on a Redhat 4. I changed yum to up2date in the scripts, but it failed. Do you support the agent on Redhat 4 machines?

We try to, but RHEL4 isn't something we run normally and it's been a while since that was tested. What sorts of issues are you running into? I assume you're following the instructions from http://library.nagios.com/library/produ ... inux-agent? We also had someone build a "statically linked" version that in theory should work on any Linux 2.6 system, so you could give that a shot too and let me know if it works for you - http://library.nagios.com/library/produ ... inux-agent.

FYI, I've updated the documentation for installing the Linux agent, and in it you'll find a link to a new package for RHEL 4.
