Hi,
I'm looking to incorporate nagios into a couple of different =
applications (one of them web-based), so ideally I need an easy way to =
access the nagios state information.
I've found the following
NagiosWS: http://www.i-xs.de/nagiosws/
Nagios XML Engine: http://nxe.sourceforge.net/
They both appear to have roughly the same functionality, and are both =
pretty easy to use. However, they only provide access to the entire =
nagios state as a whole - neither of them has any notion of contacts or =
contact_groups.
While it would be very useful for remote clients to be able to =
authenicate and only retrieve state information for the specified =
contact, I appreciate that's it's a lot of work. So, what I could get by =
with in the intern is some kind of parser for the nagios configuration =
files so I can pull out the hosts/host_groups that apply to the contact, =
and then just query that state information.
Does such a beast exist?
Sam
