I prefer the separate addon approach for stuff like this. Many shops
use only select addons, or write their own to achieve the desired
functionality. Bundling everything together makes it tough to customize
things, or use the best/newest stuff when you need to.
As was mentioned earlier, DNX and/or Merlin may be good options for your
situation. HTH.
