That worked. Thanks.
So now I have both servers showing up in host detail, one record from the .cfg files that were imported, and one from the NSClient ++ install. Moving forward, when we push the NSClient++ out to the servers, what will happen to all the servers that are showing up in my host detail now from the cfg files I imported? Will I need to go through and delete them?

Re: Hosts appear in host status but not Config Manager
They will continue to exist, when you import configuration files they are added to the MySql database just as normal configurations are that are created through the CCM or through configuration wizards. This way, you can monitor all of your servers / systems at the same time. I believe this is what you were asking?
Re: Hosts appear in host status but not Config Manager
No sorry, what I meant to say was, it looks like I'm going to end up with duplicate hosts.
I have the Hosts that appear now based on what was imported from the old system. When I install the NSClient ++ it will create another host record for the same host.
For instance, I have a host now called svrKahuku01, that was imported from the .cfg files from our current 1.1 system. I installed the NSClient ++ on that server and now I have that server in host detail twice, once under the server name from the old config files, and once under the ip address from the NSClient ++ install. So do I just go in and delete the server record created by the import of the cfg files?
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks

Configuration changes in Xi should be done via the Core Config Manager. You can remove the duplicates via the CCM, verify the configuration via the Write Config Tool to make sure you don't have any config errors, and Apply Configuration. Let us know if you run into some issues.

Re: Hosts appear in host status but not Config Manager
Will do, all that appears to be working OK, we're going to test pushing out NSClient ++ via SCCM later this week, see how that works. I'll probably have some questions then.
Do you want me to continue this thread, or start a new one for any issues we run into when we start pushing out those clients?

Lets start a new one when you start pushing the clients...
