I just upgraded from 2009R1.4B to 2011R1.1 (VMware VM running on ESXi 4.1 U1).
During the upgrade I noticed SQL errors about some tables as being marked crashed and the last repair failed.
I am wondering what it is about.
The upgrade completed OK and all seems good.
Screenshot hopefully explains the problem.

Re: SQL Table errors noticed during upgrade
It seems some other problem is also occurring. The system seems to stop doing stuff but becomes very slow.
For example if I look at the dashlet Monitoring Engine Event Queue, Scheduled Events Over Time show nothing for the next 5+ minutes.
Also the XI System Component Status shows Event Data, Command Subsystem, Event Manager, Report Engine all have a red ! mark.
The only thing I can do to fix the problem is to shutdown the Nagios XI VM and then power it back on. This has happened a couple of times now, it runs fine for a while but then needs a full shutdown / power on to get it working again.
Any ideas?

Re: SQL Table errors noticed during upgrade
Excellent. I ended up needing to do the truncate steps before it was happy again.
FYI the link to the Repairing document is incorrect, it has a spelling mistake (a capital N)

Ah, good. Fixed the link - thanks for the heads-up on that.
