Graph multiple hosts

Post by BanditBBS »

Am I going crazy or is there no way to say show me all CPU graphs got all hosts in a hostgroup? I don't think there is, but I'm hoping I'm just a blind man today.

Such as.... Home > Metrics > Limit to <Host group name>? Or are you talking about using something like graph explorer? In which case that is in production at the moment.

Let me update my reply....I am going to have to modify the PHP to make it work for my needs like I did here: http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtop ... 16&t=11589

EDIT: OMG am I putting in a feature request to allow me to name the chart when saving image or at least default to host and service name for filename....OMG!

The next major release (probably early 2014) will include a new multi-metric stacked graph feature for graph explorer. This will allow you to choose metrics on different objects and graph them on a single graph. I know it solves nothing at the present, but it is coming!

No problem. Once we get past the growing pains of core 4 and all that other post conference stuff, we will be settling down to finalize the 2014 feature list for development over the impending frigid months. Winter is coming, as is a new major XI release!

Record those meetings and send them to me :) I'd love to be a fly on the wall during the feature decisions, lol.

Feel free to lock this up.
