Re: Custom action url doesn't seem to accept macro's

Post by WillemDH »

I'm sorry Andy, but I can't find the action component on the exchange, also not in customer downloads. browsed all the components, but isn't there... The only thing I can find is the documentation: http://library.nagios.com/library/produ ... -component
As I already deleted the component, I'm now without Actions component.. Could someone please provide me with a link to the actions component download? TX

Hi Andy,

Thank you very much (again) for the help. But i'm seeing some strange things. So I downloaded the component-actions.zip you gave me and uploaded it through the gui into Nagios XI.

First strange thing I notice => My configuration (like the screenshot I sent you) is still there. The three tests, nrds, eci and bash to get the action working are still there and configured exactly the same way as before I deleted it. I'm guessing the config of the component is saved somewhere else?

So I started testing and the bash action to submit an ok is working, but I still get a popup..

When I unzip the component-actions.zip and look into the actions.inc.php with Notepad++ on Windows 7, I do not see the changes you say you made...
So I think, maybe you forgot and I check with nano on the server and the changes with the hidden action div do seem to be made there...

SO I test it again (delete component and re-import) and same result. ...

Grtz

WillemDH. Can we move this to the ticketing system? A remote session may speed up resolution considerably.
