Nagios Integration with HP Storage for storage monitoring

Hi,

We would like to purchase Nagios monitoring. For this, we would like to get an idea about how successful Nagios has been with monitoring HP storage. Do we have any integration guides related to Nagios for HP storage arrays.

Please suggest. Any quick responses are appreciated.

We have not directly created plugins or guides for monitoring hp storage in particular and it really depends on the model of device and how you wish to monitor it. You might try taking a look at some plugins on exchange and pick one that would suite your needs, and we can work from there. Alternatively, if you know that you want to monitor via snmp or something similar, finding the particular oid's that you need per your device specs, we can work from there too.
