Nagios Fusion

Post by disrael »

We have 4 servers across multible networks and datacenters. We use one as a master for all the other servers. What advantage does Fusion give us compared to the way we have it now? Also are there any server requirements for Nagios Fusion? Is it easy to setup Nagios Fusion with our current XI enviroment?

Thanks in advance,

Doron

When using inbound/outbound transfers, you can see all of the checks on the master, but you cannot easily distinguish between them (which check belongs to which server). Fusion gives you a nice centralized view of all fused servers. Users who have access to the Fusion web interface can click on a server of interest, and "drill down" to get more info. You can read more about all of the benefits of Nagios Fusion here:

Nagios Fusion can integrate with the following Nagios monitoring servers:

- Nagios XI version 2009R1.3 or later
- Nagios Core 3.2.2 or later
