Hi,
I have the following situation and design to be able to monitor remote Internet access from Windows machines. I note however that check_http is not one of the commands in nsclient++. Here's the deal. We have 32 field offices each accessing Internet locally using ISPs in their respective countries. Internet access is very important for our business and we need to monitor that it's accessible. Our NagiosXI server is in our main data centre in Tunis and the backup data centre in in Pretoria. From both locations it's a straight forward check_http from the Nagios servers. We monitor our Internet site to give us the benefit of knowing the accessibility as well as the fact that our web services are up. For the field offices though, we have installed nsclient++ so that we can run passive checks back into our Nagios servers. The problem is that on the Windows machines the check_http is not available.
Is there a place to fetch a windows version or do we need to script our own? Is there a script version that we can use?
Kind regards,
Running check_http from a remote Windows PC

You have already opened a ticket for this issue. Per standard resolution, I will lock this up.
