Cant Delete a Host Group

Hi,

Im having trouble deleting a host group called Network - CORE when i try it says

Error: Could not find any hostgroup matching 'Network - CORE' (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/services/Network - CORE .cfg', starting on line 28)

Please advise on how to fix this.

I assume this is through the CCM? Is the error showing up when you click delete, or when you click apply config?

Hi,

Yes thats correct, after i log in Nagios, i navigate to CCM, log in there - then click on host group - search for the host - click delete - it deletes successfully (no errors) upon applying this config it gives the error:

Command submitted for processing...
Waiting for configuration verification............
Configuration verification failed.

An error occurred while attempting to apply your configuration to Nagios Core. Monitoring engine configuration files have been rolled back to their last known good checkpoint.

It looks like you might have placed a space before ".cfg" in your Network - CORE config file. Can you post/PM the content of /usr/local/nagios/etc/services/Network - CORE .cfg (removing sensitive information) and confirm whether or not there is a space there?

I found the problem, it was hanging onto host therefore it could not be deleted.
