Custom status.cgi

Hi Friends,

Is there any ways to modify status.cgi file in nagios xi . so that it shows only the alerts which are critical..
I mean what i think is if we acknowledge the alert it shold not show up in the status.cgi..

as of now it is showing the alerts which are acknowledge also.. what i want is only the alerts which are critical should show and ignore the acknowledgd one so that it would be easy to monitor

For example if i enter this url it should only show the critical alerts and it should ignore the critical alerts which are already acknowledged.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have a feeling there is no safe way to do that, it would break far too many things. Have you looked at the Operations Center/Screen? It will show all hosts/services in a non ok state.

Thank you very much for your fast and prompt reply.

We have old server running Nagios® 3.0.3 and in that we had custom status.cgi . It shows only the critical alerts and ignores any Acknowledged alerts.
So we are planning to implement the same in nagios Xi.

We have tried to copy that status.cgi from old nagios but it dosent work as the old version is running in solaris and nagios xi is running in Linux.

operation center screen is the home page of nagiosxi right?

Hi Lmitchev and Slansing,

I had checkd Nagios xi operation screen component and dosent meet my requiremnents.
However i found one more component what exactly i am looking out for
the component is nocscreen

in this URl the acknowledged issues are not seen.
