Web interface all passwords

I tried logging into Nagios today and it wouldn't let me in with any of my accounts. I asked a couple other people with access and nobody can log in.

Is it possible that the password file has become corrupted?

Is there a command line to rest the passwords under root on the server?

Now I feel stupid, google searched first didn't find an answer. Added xi into the nagios and it was the first link......

Admin plz delete after proper abuse for not searching.....
