Mhmh. Every device I add now has same problem, at least second one. Now I have 73 devices, incl just added Windows device to check.

Device check-time reset on process restart
Re: Device check-time reset on process restart
Well, a little more complicated, seems to -- I removed one "older" device which haven't this illness and added it and ... now it has same problem. Something else is wrong.

No-no, I was wrong, this newly added (temporarily removed) "old" device seems to be ok, no timing reset, though.

So where does that leave us?

Re: Device check-time reset on process restart
Hi again and thanks!
So ... from 73 devices I have 2 (one newly added) which reset timing every Nagios process restart and ... I can't understand why! There we stand. So, I hope You can help me figure that out. =)
More thanks, Alar.

Re: Device check-time reset on process restart
Is this happening with every host you add? Do the service durations change? What version of Nagios are you using?
Re: Device check-time reset on process restart
Just to verify, are you changing the hostname of these hosts between nagios restarts? (that will cause them to lose the historical data)
Is there any unique configuration to the failing checks?

Re: Device check-time reset on process restart
Hi!
I added a few days ago another device and it does not suffer with this problem., but device I added before that ... did (for few days), but not right now, interesting. At this very moment I still have this one device with this problem. As I wrote, I've Nagios version 3.0.6, bundled with SLES 11 (SP2).
I haven't changed host name. No unique conf, very simple/plain.
More thanks, Alar.

Re: Device check-time reset on process restart
If you remove the problem config, restart nagios, add it back, and then restart again, do you still experience the same problem?
