Restore the Nagios log files.

Hi,

i need to restore nagios.log file on new installed nagios, I restored all .cfg files and restored the nagios.log files also, but i am not get the logs.
please do the needful... what steps to make the keep the log files in different server with same configuration files.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.. you said you restored the logs but you are not getting the logs? Can you go into more detail?

Hi,

currently my nagios server is running in server-1, i have planned to change the same configuration to server-2 with same status of server-1, so i took the
backup of all .cfg files and nagios.log file from server-1 and restored in server-2 but iam not get the trends ie;) previous log files (history), please do the needful

Did you move:

/usr/local/nagios/var/archives

/usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log

To the same directory on the new server? By trends are you sure you don't mean performance data for graphs and not logs?
