vSphere Client v5.0.0 - Failed to deploy OVF Template

I'm doing a new install and since I have a VMWare ESXi v5.0.0 environment, I chose to download and attempted to deploy the vSphere OVF template (64-bit), filename “nagiosxi-2012r2.5-64.ovf”.

From my vCenter vSphere Client I selected File -> Deploy OVF Template… Browsed to the location that I downloaded it to, gave it a unique name, chose a cluster and host, datastore, and
network. During the deployment I get the error message you see below and it never completes.

Failed to deploy OVF package: File nagiosxi-2012r2.5-64-disk1.vmdk fails integrity check and might have been corrupted during transfer.

My first thought was a corrupt download so I re-downloaded, then repeated the above process, same failure. So I repeated a third time and still got the same error each time.

Where did you download this from? You should be downloading a .ova file from OVF links at http://library.nagios.com/library/produ ... loads/main.

The .ova should deploy just fine, this is the one I just tested with:
