Prevent read only users from seeing hostgroup overview

We have created read only users, with just access to their own devices. However when going to Views> Hostgroup overview they can see all Hostgroups. How can we prevent this?

Currently, if you assign those user's contact's to a host and that host is in a hostgroup they will be able to see the other hosts in that group. One thing you could do is to create a separate hostgroup for those users so they only see hosts relevant to them.

OK, thanks for the info. Need to remove those devices from hostgroups.

It would be great to prevent this somehow, now you cannot use the devices in hostgroups if external partner needs read-only access to its own devices and devices has hostgroup.
