Hello,
I have a question about MKlivestatus broker module for Nagios. I have Nagvis installed which is using the 'live' socket to get status information and I can use the command line to get information form Nagios through this socket, but is it possible to have another application connect and use this same socket without breaking Nagvis? In other words, can this socket/broker be shared among applications? If not, can I just create another file socket with a different name by loading the same livestatus.o module in the nagios.cfg file?
I know this question is related to things other than Nagios itself but if anyone has any information about this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
