Dashlet Question

Post by sleon »

So I have found out how to add a dashlet but lets say I want a dashlet to display only a certain host or group is this possible? When adding the standard dashlet it displays all the hosts I have added in the system total.

Depends on the dashlet. Which one are you referring to?

Let's say BBMap and I just want it to display a specific group of servers, I don't want a display of all 1000 servers just a specific set is this possible?

You would have to make some manual edits to the BBmap component Admin > Manage Components. There are currently no additional options on what you will see displayed with that component.

Is there any other dashboard that can be customized for just a few hosts?

Some dashlets can be customized for just host: status info, any of the status detail tables for services on a specific host, etc. Is there something in particular you are looking for?
