No, I haven't updated anything. It's waiting for me to select an option:
boot from HD
installation
rescue system
check installation media
firmware test
memory test.
A server goes down
Re: A server goes down
You must have a cd image mounted. Choose boot from hd.

It goes back to the screen that it was stuck on that I told you about.
Re: A server goes down
Do you have a cd image mounted in the vm properties?

I did, but I disconnected it.
Re: A server goes down
Ok. Reboot the vm once again, when it gets to the point it hangs, screenshot the vm console and post it here.

Re: A server goes down
Is there another suggestion that can help?

Re: A server goes down
It seems like this is a vmware issue. Check out this article and see if it is going to help. If you are still having issues, tomorrow we could schedule a remote session to troubleshoot this further. Unfortunately, today we are working remotely, due to the extremely cold weather in Minnesota, so we cannot schedule a remote session for today.
Be sure to check out our Knowledgebase for helpful articles and solutions!

Re: A server goes down
You were completely right! It was a VMware issue. For whatever reason it didn't like the host and cluster it was residing on, but once I moved it it's back up and running.
There is a sql error on the Host Group status though. Do I need to restart the sql service?
