Acknowledge this problem

Good morning.
Is there any chance that an alert is acknowledged and this go away?

We want the alert disappears although not resolved.

I think you may be a bit confused, alerts are also commonly called notifications as they alert you of an issue. You can comment on an object, but once the state reverts and changes again you will get a new alert, unless you acknowledge the problem which will suppress alerts until the object goes back to an OK state, and then switches to a non OK state. You could place the object into downtime to suppress these notifications, or deactivate it.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you want email alerts to stop sending when you acknowledge a problem? If so, this is already the standard behavior. Are they still being sent out?

Or do you want the status to return to OK when you acknowledge?
