Can not start nrpe agent on Solaris 10 u9

I downloaded nrpe agent from http://assets.nagios.com and installed it in our Solaris 10 update 9 server(Sun Sparc). However, when I tried to start it up, it is in maintenance mode. The following error is found in log file

[ Jan 8 17:31:11 Leaving maintenance because disable requested. ]
[ Jan 8 17:31:11 Disabled. ]
[ Jan 8 17:31:18 Enabled. ]

ld.so.1: nrpe: fatal: libc.so.1: version `SUNW_1.22.7' not found (required by file /opt/nagios/bin/nrpe)
ld.so.1: nrpe: fatal: libc.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed

However, I can start nrpe agent successfully in another Solaris 10 update 10 server(Sun Sparc). I searched this forum and found someone had same issue as me - http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtop ... f=6&t=7020. Some one suggested to apply Solaris 10 Update 10 patch bundle. But I don't want to do that just for this agent. Can you provide me with the old tarball of nrpe agent which supports Solaris 10 update 9? Looks like the one in http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ent.tar.gz only works at least Solaris 10 update 10

We do not have any older ones, as the solaris 10u10 was the first of our "official" precompiled bins. You may find other precompiled bins out on the web (for ex. http://www.opencsw.org/packages/nrpe/). If you have a build server, you could download the nrpe source and build against the solaris version deployed in your environment.
