Tunnel

Post by MPIvan »

Hi all,

As you may now i finally get SNMPTT to work. But now im having trouble getting the right SNMP TRAP enabled. For example i have one Main Router and 700 other routers. All this 700 are connected to this Main Router with leased line. They are all in one tunnel. Main router have configured with one tunnel that goes all this 700 lines. So im trying to configure this Main Router with SNMP Traps. If one of this 700 Routers are down, this Main Router have to know about it and send this SNMP Trap to Nagios. Does somebody know what SNMP Traps should i enable for the Tunnel and IP address SNMP Traps to this Main Router.

The answer may very well be vendor specific. I would suggest checking the documentation for your router.
