Implied Object Inheritance

In the Core documentation, under Object Inheritance, I note that some variables in the host definition can be inherited by the service definition.

These include:
- contact_groups
- notification_interval
- notification_period

Will "notification_options" also be inherited?

The way the documentation is worded would seem to imply that it would not, but I can't say I've actually tried that yet.
