Design two Nagios Failover/Redundant topology - need help !

Post by ultimo »

Greetings all forum members.

If this topic is not in the right forum I would like the admins to move it.

I am trying to find a good how to, on configuring and designing the Failover/Redundant topology that consists of two Nagios servers.
I would like a one to run all the time, and if it fails another one takes his place.
So I think that they could be in sync.

In Nagios web page, I could not find many documentation, most of it is not a complete guide.

Thanks in advance.

There is quite a good chunk of information here:

http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/redundancy.html

Let us know if you have additional questions, I am moving this to the General - Core support section.
