If I want to set a delay of 15 minutes on the service check_http during night hours, how would I do that without having two services?
Is there an easy way?
I do have timerules set already, just dont understand how to implement this easy on a service.
Only solution I thaught of is to have two services where one is using timerule day and the other services the timerule night, but I do not want to solve it like this. There has to to be a better way to sort this on one service?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

Yes, you can set up two different time periods, one for normal business hours, and the other for nights, then set up two different contacts, or contact groups. Assign those time periods to the contacts, then, set up your notification intervals on the second set of contacts.

Thank you for really quick reply, slansing.
Because we have a lot of different services and hosts connected to our 1 'on-call-contact', this would not be an easy fix as its only certain services we want this special exception on.
But if it's the only way then there isnt much to do.

You are most likely stuck changing the time periods on the contact as you just want to delay the alerting. Otherwise you could use timeperiods to disable those checks during the given time, which could be applied to the service. But the desire for a delay will force you to make the changes on the contact (or escalation).flipaswitch wrote:But if it's the only way then there isnt much to do.
