NSCP-0.4.1.102 version difference?

Post by nanz28v »

I read the pdf on pushing this client out through an application management interface and I have a "dumb" question. In the pdf there's only instruction for 32bit. Should we segregate 32bit client from 64bit for these 2 groups of servers? If so I need to create 2 copies of packages, that's all.

You can only run the 64 bit version on 64 bit machines, how you choose to do the install and separation is entirely up to you. As nsclient provides both services and drivers last time I checked, you should definitely be installing the version respective of your architectures. This question, is probably better posed on the nscp forums though as they would have more knowledge of specific deployment scenarios.

Thank you for your answer. I'll keep the packages separate then.
