Hi,
Please can you let me know the monitoring wizard to be used for monitoring a Host with Solaris 10 OS. Just would like to monitor the basic monitoring like host up/down, cpu usage, swap usage, memory usage.

Hi,
I can find the solaris wizard on this link http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/wizards/, can I use this and monitor the host via SNMP polling or can I use Linux SNMP wizard ?
Or is it better to go for NRPE agent and use NRPE wizard ?

The wizard uses nrpe and nagios-plugins:

You can use snmp, but it will require configuring snmp on the remote device. If you use snmp, you will want to use the snmpwalk wizard or the plain snmp wizard instead of the solaris agent wizard as that requires nrpe.
