Core Config Manager Password Issue

Post by awoodewh »

An admin user just reported that he cannot log into the CCM. I changed his password and still no luck. Created a new user, assigned a password and admin privs, user can login to XI, but not CCM.

Thanks,
Andy

The CCM requires a separate authentication from the XI interface. If you want this user to login to the CCM with a username other than 'nagiosadmin' you can create a new user by accessing: Configure->Core Configuration Manager->Config Manager Admin->Manage Config Access, and "Add New."

Administrative users can also reset the CCM password for 'nagiosadmin' by accessing the Admin->Reset Security Credentials, and updating the password in the "New Config Manager Admin Password" field.
