new ovf UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY

Post by djzah71 »

Just deployed the nagios-64.ovf and upon first boot I receive the error

/dev/sda1: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY: RUN fsck MANUALLY.

*** An error occurred during the file system check.

I tried to run fsck manually and no change, upon reboot the same error message.

I'm not sure why this would be happening, unless the download was corrupted. I have a copy downloading now and will let you know when I have tested the latest 64 bit ovf.

I'm trying to redeploy the OVF file now.

Same thing happened after I re-installed/imported the .ovf file you provided. In the event you are successful, please look at the screenshots I took of my installation to see if we are doing something different on the settings.

I did not have the same issues, it seems to be working as expected. I also did the steps just about if not identical to what you posted. I would suggest redownloading the ovf first, I would have to guess, but guess that it is corrupted.
