How to extract same MIB for differnet devices?

Post by phyo »

Hi,

If different devices use same mib file, then how can we extract the same mib for different devices?

In my project, I have Cisco Nexus 3064, Cisco Catalyst switch C4510, ASA 5584. I want to monitor linkup/linkdown via SNMP Traps. But the mib file is the same IF-MIB.my

So how can I extract the mib for these devices.

Thanks.

You should be able to just use the current mib if it supports all your devices. The device oids will just match against your current installed mibs, and if 1 mib covers multiple devices, that mib should be used when necessary.
