We will keep the Postgres DB as suggested but want to remove the MySQL DB so that we can use the system resources optimally

i'm still trying to understand what we need to do with the MySQL DB which is installed on the Nagios XI server in case of Databse offload. I think this thread should be open till I find the answers

OK we can leave it open for a while longer, but you can always open another if its a different issue.

Is mod-gearman compatible with Nagios XI 2012 R2.8c? I have come across a post which says that mod-gearman is still not tested on nagios core 4. Please also suggest how I can chk which version od Nagios core is being used by Nagios XI.
Also, How do we check if the mod-gearman server/worker is working fine?

Yes gearman would be fine with any 2012 version. 2014 will be updating to core 4, but not before then.
