Simple way to modify XI themes?

Is there a way to modify themes in NagiosXI and have the changes stay in place after an upgrade?

Come XI 2014, there will be additional themes available, you could alter the CSS right now if you wished, but it would most likely be changed on upgrade unfortunately.
