Nagios XI Services are pending post upgrade to Nagios Core 4

Hi all,

I am running a VMware image of NagiosXI from the Nagios website with the latest version of Nagios XI

Linux version 2.6.32-358.2.1.el6.x86_64 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-3) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Wed Mar 13 00:26:49 UTC 2013

Over the weekend I upgraded Nagios Core to 4.0.4 and inturn corrected some issues with the MySQL database, I have upgraded NDO2DB to the latest version from the website, however the NagiosQL is still at version 3.0.3

When I now view services in NagiosXI it say service is pending but in Nagios Core it shows all the information about when it was last updated and checked. Core is working fine but XI isn't

I am sure I will find more items to fix along the way but if anyone knows the reason why this is happening I would greatly appreciate it. I have just run a repair on the MySQL database and am rebooting the server so I will update if this clears the issue.

Nagios XI should not be upgraded to Nagios Core 4 and cannot be without substantial changes. These changes are all wrapped up into XI 2014 which is due to be released shortly and will also contain Nagios Core 4, and the new version of NDO2DB. Was this a test XI server, or your production system?
