Cannot Delete Contact

Hi all,

I have inhereted a xi installation and my boss wanted to remove the admin I replaced. I removed all of the dependencies using the bulkd modification tool. I try to delete his account i get the following error:

Error: Contact 'jkelly' specified in host 'PPL-Amarillo-113-GW01' is not defined anywhere!

I have looked at my hosts and I have a 'PPL-Amarillo-113-GW1 but not a 'PPL-Amarillo-113-GW01' and his account is not deleted.

any ideas on how to fix this issue?

What is the output of:

ll /usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts/PPL-Amarillo-113-GW01

It may be a ghost host, in which case all you need to do is remove it from the CLI, and you should be good to go.

That was the issue there was a PPL-Amarillo-113-GW01.cfg file that had the username in it. I removed the file and was able to remove the user.
