Is there any option available in Nagios XI to add / remove / import hosts and services through command line tool / utility?

Well you can place objects in the static directory, it's not an import though as they never enter the database:

http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... _Files.pdf

You can prep/import configs mainly through the command line, but you will need to import them through the web ui:
