Apple Mac Server Memory Reporting

Post by JoshLittle_MO »

Hello everyone! I just started using the Nagios free trial this week, and I already love it. I've been configuring it in-depth today, but I'm having some issues and I was directed by here.

Nagios is showing my Mac file server is using approx. 90% of the memory, but in the Activity Monitor it's showing 9.65GBs is "Inactive".

Any idea what I could do to adjust this behavior to accurately report the memory usage?

Can you show us the actual command that is run from the command line, along with the output of it? Also, run "top" on the mac box and show us the output.
