Issue with SMS Sender

I am having a strange issue and it does seem to be random.

The issue I am having is that the SMS messages will display from the sender as ‘6245’ as opposed to the email address logged in the setup.

Any suggestions as to why this happens?

I believe I may have solve the mystery of the '6245' sender. It seems that is the sender used for anonymous with the Verizon SMTP SMS gateway. Not sure why only a few messages come through like that, but I found several articles regarding the '6245' that were not related to Nagios, but the use of EMail to SMS via a Droid on the Verizon network.
