Sorry Dave I can't let you do that

Post by wmendoza »

I have a new Production XI environment installed in RHEL 6.3 64 bit. I noticed that my time had shifted after a reboot and i started getting the "Sorry Dave Error" only in IE the other browsers Chrome and Firefox I was able to login without a problem.

First i checked my NTP.conf file and step-tickers they were not setup properly so i fixed them. verified that the NTP port was open, and restarted the ntpd service. time was still off.
changed the time manually with the date command "date MMDDXXXX" that fixed the time but the Sorry Dave error did not go away.
I found the "Change the XI System Time" documentation in the exchange and this resolved the issue.
Follow the steps in this document and it will save you time....
