I'm looking how to add a link to document from nagios host.
I've tried with action_url or action component but no way to go to my docs with this way file://10.160.x.x/docs/file.doc.
What i would like is to have an icon under host name wich go to the file and open .doc file.
Is this question regarding Nagios XI or Nagios Core? You posted this in the Core section but you provided an XI screenshot.
In Core this should definitely be working by using the action_url setting.
In XI you have to click through a few things to get to the file. Click the host name, then in the Advanced tab click "View this host in Nagios Core". This will open up the Core web interface and from there you will see an icon on the right for the action URL labeled "Extra Actions". That icon will link to whatever you put in the Action URL in your CCM.
