Error: Invalid max_check_attempts value for host '192.168.130.1**'
Error: Could not register host (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts/192.168.130.1**.cfg', starting on line 14)

What exactly do you mean by the ID? Are you referring to the ID listed on the far right side in the CCM?

And for that issue, you need to have all the required fields filled in for the apply config to take properly. You are missing the Max Check Attempts value, and possibly others as well. Applying a standard template to objects will help keep these errors from appearing.

You wouldn't; the template advice was for moving forward setting up hosts.

And what did you mean by the ID? Where were you seeing this? It almost looks like you have a ghost host lingering somewhere.
