How long have you had it monitoring that network device? Between mrtg and nagios checks, it is perfectly normal for it to take upwards of 30 minutes to get statistics into nagios xi. Otherwise, the logs you are showing, look pretty normal.

the device and have entered several weeks, the graphic when viewed in Performance Graph, which is not showing the value at the time the bandwidth,

the problem I have is that it presents me

Well, it looks like you may not be processing performance data right now because of that load. Looks like you also raised the load up to 40, do you now what is causing your high load on the system? Once that max number is hit NPCD will no longer process data until it drops down below that.

This process is consume more percentage load.

mysql 1467 3.4 0.9 1184336 59104 ? Sl May13 86:02 /usr/libexec/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --log-error=/var/log/mysqld.log --pid-file=/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.pid --socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

What I can do to lessen the load?

That would be the database. Though your load numbers currently under 10. It looks like load may occasionally spike on your system. Did you do anything cpu intensive to the system around 1:20am and 8:20am?

Are you able to answer Abrist's questions? The key to determining why your load is spiking at these times is to figure out what is causing it. Also, what is the output of:

Code: Select all

ll /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/xidpe/ | wc -l

ll /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/perfdata/ | wc -l

ll /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults/ | wc -l
