Cannot Acknowledge Problems

We have just upgraded to Nagios XI 2014 R1.0. We have got everything working again except when we click the "Commit" button under "Acknowledge this problem", it just goes to a white screen and doe not keep the acknowledgement. Has anyone else seen this?

When you click Schedule Immediate Check on a host or a service does it bail out telling you it can't execute your command? On the status icons in the top right of your XI UI, are they all green? Or are some blue/red? Are you forcing SSL on the XI server?

When I click Schedule Immediate Check, it process successfully. All status icons are green. Not using SSL on server.

Can you try this again and then post the last 20 lines of your error log?

I had just tried to acknolwedge a problem prior to getting the tail of this error log this morning, but the most recent events are from yesterday afternoon. Also, the frame? inside of the nagios page is the only thing that goes white. I can still access the navigation menu and go right back to the problem. Also have tried with different browsers on different computers with same result. Attached screenshot to post.

Are you logged in as nagiosadmin or another user? What is the output of the following commands?

It looks like you are hitting a core bug that we know of. Basically the acknowledge cgi is erroring when attempting to acknowledge alerts. The acks can still be pushed from the command pipe, but that is far from ideal. I know one of the core devs was working on this today. Let me see where he's at!

We are able to acknowlege problems by clicking the link in the email alert we receive. Still not able to get past the "Commit" button when acknowledging through the webpage.

What are the host and service names for that particular object? This has been reported once or twice before, and each time up to this point, it has been an issue of illegal characters. So let's make sure that's not the case here!

Also on this same object, does the submit immediate check fail also?
