If you check the localhost performance graphs in XI, do you see any spikes before the crash?
Also, check /var/log/messages around the time of the crash, are there any errors/segfaults/exceptions/warnings/etc?

We have observed that there is another machine with high I/O disk access. We are going to separate both machines.
Furthermore, we are going to use another machine for the mysql.
